The presidential candidate of the Youth Progressives Party(YPP) in the last presidential election, Kingsley Moghalu has urged youths in the country to persevere no matter what they are going through.
Moghalu was reacting to the recent surge in suicide rate among young Nigerians.
According to the former presidential candidate, he is aware that many youths are hopeless about the state of the country but should never consider suicide as an option.
Moghalu states further that suicide is not a crime but also a sin — And that the youths must organize rather than agonize.
He tweeted: The spate of suicides in our country is worrying. I know many youths are hopeless about the state of Nigeria today. But suicide is not an option. It’s a sin and a crime. We must organize rather than agonize. Hold governments to account. Vote for competent leaders.
